Dear Andy,

Thank you so much for the wonderful work your company did on our windows! We were very nervous at the beginning of our search for new windows, but your employees did everything they could to make us feel comfortable with the process. Getting twenty-nine new windows was a big undertaking!

The Stanly windows that were installed in our house have already made a huge difference! We notice less street noise, and we also notice how much better these windows keep our air conditioning from running quite as often!

Once again, thank you for all of your great work!

Sincerely,
Andy & Sara Bertelsen

Dear Tri-State People,

I thought I'd write you a letter to tell you how wonderful your windows are! Not only are they beautiful, but they are easy to clean! And, Terry Campbell and his wife are wonderful to work with and they make you feel at ease with the whole process. Plus, they, the whole company, bend over backwards for you! You cant beat that! As I told Terry Campbell, I want to see how much my gas and electric bill will go down. So, I waited for the first full month, and to my pleasant surprise, my bill was $62.91! I've never had a gas and electric bill lower than $99.00. What a huge savings! That put a smile on my face. Thanks to all of you for your expertise and your quality windows! Keep up the good work!

Yours Truly,
Vera Burch

Dear Dana, Andy and the Tri-State family,

When I was trying to think of someone to help me with the commitment to have a paid table at this year's event, Dana immediately came to mind! I couldn't think of a better person for the role of hostess and I knew with her responsibilities at Tri-State, she would completely understand the challenges of hosting others and running an event. Dana, thank you so much for not only agreeing to host and fill the table, but for going above and beyond by working with Andy to secure Tri-State to match those efforts. As if that wasn't more than enough, you two kept going with a donation for the auction AND THEN continued to get those you both feel would be excellent friends for the Center to join you.

I really could not be more blessed with the support of the amazing friends in my life. Both of you, Tri-State, and I am sure many of those attending as your guests at the event are proof that people who care can and do make a difference. I really cannot say thank you enough for your support, not only for me, but of the Center and our mission to strengthen our community's response to child abuse through prevention, intervention and advocacy. I am consistently amazed by the generosity of others to give to the cause to fight child abuse even when they are not facing it personally or seeing it like we are at the Center every week. I recently interviewed a two year old little girl. Later that week I interviewed a 16 year old boy who has spent the past few years in a detention facility due to violent behavior, who disclosed he was abused by a male family member when he was only eight. I just want each of you to know that your efforts truly will ensure the Center can continue to open its doors and serve children with stories and memories that are far too similar to the two I just shared with you.

With my sincere gratitude,
Sally Adams

Dear Andy,

This is to thank you and your firm for the basket of green plants sent to me after the passing of my husband. This was a thoughtful and caring act, much appreciated.
This is also to thank you for helping to arrange a satisfactory choice for the new vinyl siding on our house. Kris Koontz and his helpers did a good quality job, and finished it quickly. Kris even helped with a couple little things at the last (a door closer and storage of a few extra siding pieces in the garage).
We trust this will be an enduring improvement. The neighbors all like it.

Yours,
Mary Winn

Dear Tri-State,

Billy and the crew went above and beyond in their efforts to make our job perfect. We were more demanding than most because my husband has extensive knowledge of roofing components and job requirements. The men were courteous and helpful throughout and took extra care solving areas that were special challenges on this job.We are very pleased with the outcome and plan to use you again on windows at a later date. Many thanks for a job well done.

Sincerely,
Caroline L. Kelly

Dear Tri-State Siding & Windows, Inc.,

We recently had all new windows installed by your company and we could not be happier! There is no longer a draft in our house and our gas bill for December decreased approximately 39% from last year! We have not had to run the humidifier because the furnace doesn't run as much to dry out the air, further adding to our utility savings.
The house is quieter, too. We have a greyhound, Mandy, who is terrified of fireworks, but last night when the fireworks went off at midnight, she did not even flinch! That will make our lives much easier on July 4th, and Mandy will be a lot happier.
The people who installed our windows were wonderful! They were professional, personable, and cleaned up everything before they left the job. I did not even have to re-hang the drapery. In the basement, they installed three new windows. Steve went above and beyond by framing in the windows so we could finish them off at a later date.
Even the salesman was a pleasure to deal with. We felt no pressure and he explained everything wonderfully. All in all, we are very pleased with the windows and craftsmanship and we will gladly recommend your company in the future.

Sincerely,
Jim & Tami Liljequist

Dear Mr. Sallee,

We would like to share the story and our heartfelt thanks for the generous and kind assistance given to our daughter, Emily, on Saturday, December 8, along Interstate 80, by your Service Manager, Mr. Bill Toyne.
Emily hit a patch of ice on I-80 westbound during the afternoon blizzard. She spun twice and bounced into the median just east of Geneseo, Il. She called home immediately and said that Mr. Toyne had stopped to inquire about her condition and safety as well as calling the State Patrol. His additional offer of help was appreciated but not anticipated at that time.
When she was unable to retrieve her car that evening and forced to stay overnight in Geneseo, his gracious offer of help meant that she enjoyed a comfortable stay and no longer worried about her belongings and computer. The additional driving from his home in Davenport, with his wife, and then from motel to car to motel for Emily was truly a heavenly gift in the blizzard.
Her heart was warmed by Mr. Toyne's care and concern and our minds were relieved at the thought of the Good Samaritan along the Illinois highway.

Sincerely,
Timothy J. & Mary C. McIvor
